Unsuspected RegretsShe woke up in a hospital bed in her dark unlit room at night. Tubes shoved up her arms and down her throat. She was about to throw her head back and scream at the thought of still being in this same ridiculous situation after all this time, but then she sensed something was different. First of all, she was no longer in any pain, and she refused to believe that was true. Secondly, there was no sound outside her door. All she could hear was the heart monitor keeping in time with the beating of her heart. That wasn’t right. This was a hospital, there was always some sort of activity going on, there was never a dull moment outside the confi Unsuspected Regrets
